In a desperate rescue mission, Generation Next infiltrates the dangerous Portland Core mine to save Colossus's sister, Illyana. Husk and Vincente ingeniously impersonate the foreman, Quietus, hoping to deceive the menacing Sugar Man. As Mondo successfully absorbs Illyana, paving her way to freedom, Colossus makes his daring move, but the team's victory is far from assured as Skin and Chamber are captured, facing a grim fate at Sugar Man's command.
