A frantic Quicksilver bursts into the Baxter Building, where he clashes briefly with the Human Torch before revealing his true purpose: a desperate plea for help. An invader from the fifth dimension named Xemu has seized control of the Great Refuge. To save Crystal, Quicksilver must return immediately with Medusa, but this rescue mission carries a grave risk for millions of other innocent lives.
