When the villainous Yandroth captures Gaea, he taps into her ancient power to unleash a onslaught of threats upon Earth. This surge of energy allows him to summon the terrifying Ravagers of Creation, prompting Earth's reluctant heroes to band together as the Defenders. Though the team manages to vanquish both the monsters and Yandroth, victory comes at a steep price. In his final moments, the defeated villain utters a sinister dying curse that threatens to bind the heroes to a dark new fate.
