Wade Wilson heads to the frozen wastes of Antarctica on a mercenary assignment that quickly pits him face-to-fist against Alpha Flight's powerhouse, Sasquatch. After dealing with a crew of rival mercenaries, the Merc with a Mouth takes what should be a straightforward job to infiltrate an unmanned research facility. However, he quickly discovers the base is not only heavily occupied but also dangerously flooded with deadly gamma radiation. Between his chaotic missions, Wade navigates his complicated personal life, which includes his arms-dealing buddy Weasel and his mysteriously imprisoned housemate, Blind Al.
