Rogue bursts into Alison Blaire's apartment, furious about being sidelined and seeking Angel's whereabouts, whom she truly intends to confront. When Dazzler attempts to visit her half-sister Lois at college, Rogue continues her relentless stalking and eventually resorts to threatening Lois to get information. Heroes for Hire intervenes, leading to a confrontation where Rogue manages to absorb Dazzler's powers, but the fight is halted when Dazzler reveals the X-Men's supposed demise, causing Rogue to abruptly flee.
