In the surreal expanse of the Outback, the Maxx is desperately trying to evade the relentless pursuit of Ret'qark'n of the God Clan. His flight ends abruptly when he tumbles into a hidden space, encountering a mysterious figure he perceives as an "impenetrable jungle queen." This queen is, in fact, Julie Winters, who uses her strange abilities to sedate the powerful Maxx, leaving him unconscious as she ponders the true identity behind his bizarre appearance.
