Seeking to give Karen and Foggy some space to live their own lives, Matt Murdock steps away from his routine to take a much-needed vacation. However, relaxation is cut short when his cruise ship comes under fire from the villainous Plunderer, who takes the hero captive. Daredevil is transported to the criminal's hidden base on Skull Island, only to discover the stronghold is already under siege. Amidst the chaos, a mysterious new defender emerges to protect the land, triggering a clash of conflicting claims over who truly rules the island.
