Amidst the "Lord of the Wolves" storyline, Capwolf faces a ferocious confrontation with Starwolf, a battle that culminates at the foot of Stonehenge where the mysterious Dr. Druid is held captive. As the chaotic skirmish rages between the transformed Captain America and his lupine adversary, Cable arrives on the scene and narrowly avoids slaughtering innocent wolves caught in the fray. Before he can secure the area, Starwolf manages to capture both Capwolf and Cable, while Dr. Nightshade is forcibly turned into a werewolf to assist in finding an antidote, leaving Moonhunter and Wolverine to fight for their freedom.
