The Sentinel of Liberty awakens from forced hibernation only to find himself at a crossroads with the government he swore to protect. Having been put into a sleeper state for publicly defying the President, Captain America is issued a stark ultimatum. He must either agree to fall back in line and serve the authorities once more, or surrender his freedom and return to a sleep that could last forever. This heavy choice forces him to confront the true cost of his convictions.
