Young Cable, wielding the space sword "The Light of Galador," finds himself far from Krakoa on an abandoned space station with Cyclops and Jean Grey when he is unexpectedly chosen for the crucial Contest of Swords. The Summers family attempts to explore the deserted station, but their search is interrupted by a mass of creatures and a mysterious encounter for Jean Grey. Realizing the urgency of the situation and the threat facing Earth, Cable must quickly deactivate the station and return to Krakoa to take his designated place in the battle for the future. This issue highlights the family's dynamic and the strong bond they share amidst the chaos of the prophetic contest.
