Grief-stricken after the death of his son, Cable teams up with Domino to hunt down the powerful psionic entity known as Onslaught. As they pursue their quarry, they are unaware that they are being shadowed by the mysterious Post. Meanwhile, Onslaught moves to eliminate Cable’s trusted mentor, Blaquesmith, forcing the metallic mutant to confront the possibility of yet another painful loss.
