When the established hero team Youngblood fails to appear, Stone and his own specialized unit, Brigade, decide to intervene when terrorists strike. The team quickly neutralizes the immediate threat, but the search for explosives yields nothing, raising immediate suspicion. The tension escalates as Stone pursues an unaccounted-for terrorist, only to discover a shocking twist: the terrorist himself is the weapon, resulting in a sudden and devastating detonation. This debut issue sets the stage for a new era of superhuman action.
