Pulled through a space warp, Athena finds herself on a planet where a powerful alien named Res offers to grant her every desire, even transforming himself into the image of her perfect lover. However, suspecting Res's illusions when Apollo and Starbuck appear, Athena flees, only for Res to reveal his monstrous true form. In a desperate move, Athena shoots Res, escaping the dying world just in time with Apollo and Starbuck, though she is left questioning the morality of ending Res's lonely existence.
