A strange, massive organic planet is detected by the Galactica's long-range scanners, leading Commander Adama to experience an induced memory as part of the investigation. Starbuck and Apollo land on the mysterious, living surface, where Apollo is immediately ambushed by aggressive, tentacled plant life. Soon, the entire Galactica finds itself caught between the Cylon Base Stars and the planet-sized being, whose organic tentacles begin to render the ship's instruments useless. As Vipers engage Cylon Raiders, the crew must find a way to escape this biological and mechanical pincers attack.
