An investigation into a strange cosmic distortion takes Spider-Man and the Avengers to a research facility where the villain Nebula has seized control of a project designed to grant ultimate power. When Nebula activates the device in her bid for omnipotence, the entire universe is seemingly obliterated, leaving the heroes protected only by Sersi's quick-thinking magic. Marooned in a blank, white void, the remaining Avengers must find a way to reverse the catastrophe before Nebula's devastating power is realized.
