A dangerous new gamma virus, intended to help the mentally ill, instead unleashes repressed rage and anger in its host. The first victim is Doc Samson, who is quickly driven to fight the Hulk in a destructive battle. Spider-Man intervenes to try and stop the chaos, only for the volatile gamma virus to transfer to the Hulk. With the Green Goliath now infected and even more uncontrollable, the wall-crawler must team up with a recovered Doc Samson to fight the raging behemoth.
