In the climactic conclusion to "The Sidekick's Revenge," Spider-Man joins forces with heroes like Moon Knight, Darkhawk, Night Thrasher, Nova, and the Punisher for an all-out assault against the nefarious Secret Empire. Inside the enemy's headquarters, the coalition of heroes battles fiercely against Midnight, Thunderball, and the Seekers. As the fight reaches its peak, one of the Secret Empire's agents, Lynn Church, attempts to use a pain inducer to control Midnight, creating a distraction that allows the heroes to escape just as the entire building collapses, seemingly trapping Midnight and Church in a fatal death-grip.
