A vital arms shipment is about to be hijacked, prompting the quick intervention of the web-slinger and a key lineup of Earth's mightiest heroes. Their informant is the reformed villain Sandman, but his reliability immediately comes into question during the mission. When chastised by Captain America, Sandman flies off the handle, leaving the heroes to wonder if they can trust their new ally as the battle for the weapons escalates.
