In a desperate move, Spider-Man seeks help at the South Brooklyn Psychiatric Facility, confiding in Dr. Charles Jefferson about a life-or-death struggle. Peter Parker prepares for a climactic showdown with Venom at the Montauk beach, fully aware that his very existence is on the line. When he wakes, he finds the symbiote separating from his body, leaving both the alien suit and Eddie Brock unconscious. With the immediate danger passed, Peter attempts to contact the Fantastic Four to deal with Brock before heading home to reassure Mary Jane.
