The Man of Steel finds himself in a desperate race to track down the villainous Conduit, only to be ambushed by Metallo and his newly augmented powers. Meanwhile, Lois Lane refuses to stand idly by and actively searches for allies to aid in the fight against Conduit's threat. As the danger escalates, Ma and Pa Kent are forced into hiding to escape the reach of Conduit's operatives, the Pipeline. In a surprising turn, Bruce Wayne's Batman confronts Superman about his recent choices, urging him to reevaluate his approach.
