When the Man of Steel attempts to breach the timestream in pursuit of Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes, his journey takes an unexpected turn. Instead of finding his allies, he is thrust into the familiar yet unsettling world of Smallville's past, a town warped and changed from his memories. As he grapples with this distorted reality, he must also contend with Superboy, who is holding both Superman and the Legionnaires in a stasis field on behalf of his mysterious "master." Superman must quickly shake off the paralyzing effect of the stasis field to protect himself and his friends from the manipulative Boy of Steel.
